United World Mission is now Mesa Global!

• Why is the name changing?

  • UWM is changing to Mesa Global for several reasons: (1) to unite several parts of the organization under one name, (2) to create a name more meaningful and memorable, (3) to help those who work in limited access countries, and (4) to communicate interdependence and mutuality.
    

• Why Mesa Global?
  

  • "Mesa" is Spanish for "table." The idea of coming together to the table has rich significance in Scripture (e.g., "table fellowship"), in families, among friends, and between colaborers. It represents a ministry posture of humility, cooperation, and mutual learning.

• Do I need to do anything?

  • If you donate to us by check, you can begin to make checks out to "Mesa Global." Mailing address and our ministry numbers are still the same.

  • If you donate by bank transfer or credit/debit card, then you do not need to do anything. Please note, however, that your bank statements will say Mesa Global from here on out.
